Parvathi

First Prize Winner of Rangoli Competition

Parvathi won the Rangoli competition in first place position for her colourful, geometric floor art made with a beautiful combination of brightly coloured powders. She has been with re-wrap for the past 8 years working as a power machine tailor. Although she comes from a poor background, she is proud of her children’s achievement, who have graduated and are pursuing their goals.

Vasantha

Second Prize Winner of Rangoli Competition

Vasantha came in second place for her beautifully symmetrical Rangoli floor art which presented two, intricately drawn, peacocks. She has also been working as a power machine tailor for the past 8 years. Much like Parvathi, Vasantha has two children; one of which is currently studying in the 10th grade, whilst the other is working for a private company.
